Fiscal Year 2025 Grants will be due April 11, 2024

Charitable Trust Fiscal Year 2020 Grant Cycle

Dear Colleagues,

The Charles County Charitable Trust is pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2020 grant cycle. Grants are available to eligible nonprofit organizations that serve the residents of Charles County.  We have streamlined the application process by creating an online submission platform on our website. You may access the application at www.charlesnonprofits.org/grants/welcome.

Please be sure to read the guidelines and instructions before applying. Eligibility requirements have changed for new nonprofit organizations. In addition, we can no longer consider grants for capital campaigns, fundraising events, vehicles, or maintenance and repair of buildings owned by nonprofits.

Mandatory Workshops.  For your grant application to be considered, a representative from your organization must attend a mandatory orientation workshop. The workshops will be held January 29, 2019 and February 12, 2019. To register, please go www.charlesnonprofits.org/grants/mandatory-orientation-workshop.  You can also register from the link in the first paragraph of this email.

The workshop will introduce grant applicants to the new online grant platform and review eligibility requirements and the criteria that the Charitable Trust’s Board of Directors will use to evaluate the applications.

Here are the key dates for your calendar:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Mandatory Workshops:                                January 29, 2019 and February 12, 2019 (attend one workshop)                                                                                                       Application Submission Deadline:          April 14, 2019
